Statement of Faith

LORI HYNSON – AUTHOR/SPEAKER

I was baptized by water and proclaimed my faith in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior on February 17, 2002 when I was forty-seven years old at Second Baptist Church of Doylestown.

I believe that all scripture (66 books) are the exhaustive, inerrant and inspired word of God. They are the final authority for righteousness in faith and life.

I believe in one true God, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

I believe that Jesus Christ is “the way, the truth, and the life.” (John 14:6).

I believe that my salvation is through the grace of God, who sacrificed His Son, Jesus Christ, to atone for my sins and grant me eternal life.

I believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and birthed by a human virgin, Mary. I believe that Jesus Christ was both fully man and fully God.

I believe that Jesus Christ lived a sinless life, and that He died on the cross as a perfect sacrifice for my sins. I believe He was resurrected on the third day. I believe that Jesus Christ ascended to heaven to sit at the right hand of God. I accept Jesus Christ as my Savior and the Lord of my life.

I believe that God loves me; that He has a personal knowledge of me, and that He has a good plan for my life.

I believe that the Holy Spirit works in my life as I believe and trust in God. He guides me, teaches me, and convicts me when I sin. I believe that the Holy Spirit sanctifies me for the purpose of producing the life-changing fruit of love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and self-control.

I believe that I have a personal responsibility to God to know and understand His will in and for my life.

I believe that I share in the ministry to Jesus Christ to love, teach and bless the broken and lost, and to bring them into God’s family of believers.

I believe that Jesus Christ is coming again.

I believe that I will be resurrected after death to eternal life through Jesus Christ.
